7.2 We Do Not Store Health Platform Data
IMPORTANT: We do not permanently store health data from Apple Health or Google Fit on our servers.
- Health platform data is read in real-time when you use the App.
- Data is used temporarily to display metrics and personalize recommendations.
- We write workout data you complete in Momentm back to your health platform (with your permission).
- Your health platform (Apple Health or Google Fit) remains the primary storage for this data.
The only fitness data we store on our servers is:
- Workout plans generated by the App
- Workout sessions you explicitly log within Momentm
- Your fitness profile preferences (goals, experience level, equipment)
7.3 Strict Protections
Health data obtained from Apple Health (HealthKit) or Google Fit:
- Is NOT used for advertising or marketing purposes
- Is NOT shared with third parties for advertising or marketing
- Is NOT sold to data brokers or any third parties
- Is NOT used for purposes unrelated to providing health and fitness functionality
- Is NOT sent to AI/LLM providers for workout generation
7.4 Your Control
- You can revoke access to health platforms at any time through your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Health on iOS, or through Google Fit permissions on Android).
- Revoking access stops all future data reading and writing.
- Revoking access does not affect workout data you previously logged directly in Momentm.
8. AI and Machine Learning
8.1 How We Use AI
Momentm uses artificial intelligence to:
- Generate personalized workout plans based on your preferences and goals
- Adapt recommendations based on your progress and feedback
- Improve the quality and relevance of workout suggestions over time
8.2 AI Training
